About Tanguera
About Me
For more than a decade — at Deloitte, A.T. Kearney and UBS, and on transformation programmes across more than 40 countries since — I've watched the same thing happen: the technology goes live, and the value doesn't follow. Rarely because the system is wrong. Almost always because the people around it were never truly brought along. Closing that gap — between a system that works and people who actually use it — is the whole of what I do.
Why "Tanguera"
The name is deliberate. I've spent years as a competitive Argentine tango dancer, and tango turns out to be a surprisingly exact description of good change work: it's precise and improvised at the same time. There's a clear frame and real discipline underneath — but every dance adapts to the person in front of you, in real time. Transformation is the same. The methodology matters, and it's worthless if you can't read the room, adjust, and carry people with you. Rigour and responsiveness, together. That's the combination I built the practice around.
A decade in the room where transformations succeed or stall
I trained in strategy and finance consulting before change management was fashionable. At A.T. Kearney I cut my teeth on international research and analysis; at UBS I worked in the CFO's advisory team in Switzerland, where I learned how large, cautious organisations really make decisions — and earned a Six Sigma Yellow Belt streamlining the work along the way.
The heart of my consulting years was at Deloitte UK, leading change and finance-transformation workstreams for global clients: designing and delivering change strategy for programmes touching a thousand-plus stakeholders, running stakeholder heat-mapping and change-journey design, and engaging C-level sponsors on their most complex, high-stakes initiatives — from post-merger finance redesign to building out a cross-EMEA SAP practice.
Since going independent, I've led the people side of major system rollouts end to end — a global SAP S/4HANA programme delivered in waves, and a portfolio of ERP, Workday and Salesforce transformations — as the bridge between programme leadership, IT, and the business functions who have to live with the result.
What that means for you
I'm Prosci®-certified, but I lead with experience and put the methodology in service of it — never the other way around. I have experience across the systems suchas: SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, Workday, Dynamics 365 — so I can hold my own with your technical teams and translate between them and the people who'll use what they build.
Most of all, I work the way I'd want to be worked with — clearly, calmly, and honestly — building the kind of relationship where you call me first. Not because you have to, but because you want to.
Beyond the work
When I'm not with clients, you'll usually find me on a tango floor. I've competed internationally — a semi-finalist at the 2025 Tango World Championships and I chair an international tango festival. It's where the precision-and-improvisation instinct comes from, and it's quietly made me better at the day job: performing under pressure, reading people fast, and staying composed when the plan hits a reality check.
